There was a boy named Kessel
Who lived between two tall train trestles
And each day, he'd go outside to play and see
The trains as they would go by
And he'd wonder if he'd ever see
The places they would go
And how far away they must be
So he would ask his mom and dad
"Hey Mom and Dad, how far away
Do you think I'll ever go?"
And they would say "You know,
No matter how far you will go
No matter all the things you'll know
No matter how far or how wide the sky
You'll always have a place at home"
So Kessel, he grew taller
And the world, it grew smaller
And before he knew, he'd left behind
His old locality
He traveled north and east and west
And saw the south, and all the rest
The wondrous world has so many things to see
But he always knew his favorite place to be
No matter how far he would go
No matter all the things you'd know
No matter how far or how wide the sky
He always had a place at home
